Kymberleigh Dougherty
Kymberleigh G. Dougherty has practiced family law exclusively for the duration of her legal career. She received her legal education from the University of New Mexico School of Law and graduated cum laude from the University of New Mexico with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. In 2018, Kymberleigh obtained an Associates’ Degree in Accounting.
Kymberleigh is an equally skilled litigator and negotiator. Her practice includes divorce, parentage, child support and adoption. Kymberleigh works hand in hand with her clients to assist them in reaching resolution of their most difficult family law issues. She also frequently serves as a settlement facilitator, both at the request of her peers and as appointed by the Court. Kymberleigh continues to advance her skills by attending numerous continuing legal education courses, including those available through her membership in the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts. Kymberleigh was selected by her colleagues to sit on the Board of the Family Law Section of the State Bar of New Mexico. She serves as the Chair of the Education Committee, organizing legal education programming to ensure family law practitioners in New Mexico have the knowledge and training to serve their communities. Kymberleigh also sits on the Board of the Solo and Small Firm Section of the State Bar of New Mexico. Likewise, Kymberleigh serves as a hearing committee member for the Disciplinary Board of the New Mexico Supreme Court. |
